Dow Electric, Inc. began in 1987 as a small independent contracting business located in North Lawrence, New York, and was incorporated in 1991. The Company started out with repair and maintenance in the residential market, alone with installation of electrical service entrances. Today, Dow Electric, Inc. has expanded to become one of the most diversified electrical contracting businesses in upstate New York. Dow Electric, Inc. has become successful by working in the residential, light/heavy commercial (including High Voltage), municipal, institutional and industrial markets, provide design bui...ld capabilities and general construction. Recently we have also spread our wings a bit more to include Solar fields (both AC and DC sides) as well as Hands Free Mooring Units for Seaway Locks. Geographically, we are located in Malone, New York in Franklin County and originally performed most of our work there and in St. Lawrence County. Due to the economic climate and our commitment to keep employees employed year round, our company has expanded our work area throughout New York State; with employees that live in MA and CT. Dow Electric, Inc. has three sister companies to help provide a level of service of the highest quality: Alltech Integrations, Inc., Everything Electric and HJ Dow. More
