Certified Peer Support Worker- PM

One (1) Full-Time position for Evening Shift Monday through Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Peer Supervisor with organizing scheduling, create agency programming, and ensure effective and efficient client/peer interactions.
• Contribute to effective communication between staff and participants.
• Assist participants in setting up and sustaining self-help (mutual support) groups, as well as means of locating and joining existing groups. Will teach and role model the value of every individual’s recovery experience.
• Serve as a recovery agent by providing and advocating for any effective recovery-based services that will aid the client in daily living. Interventions to assist the client with reaching their goals for recovery.
• Will be able to answer specific questions relating to the clinic, the treatment here, and the admission/orientation process.
• Will be able to direct participants to other treatment programs that may better suit their needs.
• Become part of the participant’s support system. As an extension of the PSW position,
• The Lead PSW will include PSW management, mentoring, assisting in hiring and performance control.
• Participate in orientation and training of new employees and students. Will participate in various aspects of the Quality Improvement Plan.
• Assist Peer Supervisor in the roll out of the CCSS program.
• Audit superbills for accuracy and BH and Suboxone new intakes to ensure that all required documentation is uploaded in the EHR.
• Assist with ancillary duties deemed appropriate by the clinical or medical department or other departments as approved by the direct supervisor.
