This Role:
Our engaged sales organization is seeking a Senior Manager of Sales Operations. This will be a hybrid role out of our Grand Rapids, MI office (2-3 days/week in-office) reporting to our Vice President of Sales Operations.
What You Will Do:
The Senior Manager of Sales Operations will assist the overall sales organization in achieving sales targets through the effective day-to-day management of the daily sales processes/systems/staff as well as evaluation and implementation of effective sales operations strategies.
How You Will Do It:
- Provide direct personnel management to team of sales operations specialists
- Manage the day-to-day sales process, including promotions, customer programs, and special pricing adjustments
- Work with the VP of Sales Operations and channel leaders to design and implement pricing strategies which improve profitability and increase sales effectiveness.
- Design and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency of the sales operations team.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics such as changes in pipeline activity, win/loss data, sales and order trends to inform and optimize the sales strategy.
- Provide operations support to sales teams, helping them overcome obstacles
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, accounting, or finance. (strongly preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in Channel or Sales Operations Management (required)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (required), advanced level experience with MS Excel functions (required)
