Essential Responsibilities:
- Management of global corporate forecasting process
- Utilize current company business strategies and global sales activities to create more robust initiatives and project future growth
- Ability to use business analytics, market share, and market sizing to report out in detail to executive level. Possess research and reporting skills to analyze sales data and consumer trends to create sales forecasts
- Drive industry direction and effective decision making
- Strategy Development Including Current and Future/Targeted Business
- Understanding the competitor and how to use that knowledge to gain an advantage
- Participate in financial month-end activities to understand and create future initiatives
- Provide complex competitive analysis within new and existing markets and product segments
- Contribute to our product and business teams by supporting monthly forecast reviews and driving data-driven decision making
- Account Management
- Oversight, direction and prioritization for AM team
- Address open commercial items
- Improve financial performance of business
- Candidates here will have strong leadership skills to lead the Account Management team as well as providing data to the VP of Sales that assist in measuring the sales team performance as it relates to goals and profitability or program wins.
- Responsible for the team and the data needed to support customer specific product strategies
- Assist with presentation materials for Executives and Board of Directors meetings monthly and quarterly
Education & Experience:
- BS/BA – Engineering or Business Administration
- MBA/MAS – is preferred
- Minimum 8 years in sales or business development role with demonstrated ability in sales data analytics and forecasting
- Superior acumen with Microsoft Office Suite; including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and demonstrated examples presentation skills at a high level with executive leadership.
- Documented experience identifying opportunities within automotive business segments based on data and competitor intelligence.
- Experience with managing a sales pipeline and working with product development on overall customer strategy
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales teams, operations specialists, collaborating departments and upper management
- Working knowledge of customer systems, including their internal purchasing, engineering, appearance approval and shipping systems
- Working knowledge of contact management systems, contracts, and processes
- Working knowledge of internal systems including quote submission, and program cost tracking
- Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities
