Quality Control ACI Grade 1 Field Technician Assistant

Purpose of Position: Perform all necessary quality control testing for concrete mixtures, aggregates, thickness, and smoothness to ensure product is compliant with specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct essential quality control testing on concrete mixtures, aggregates, thickness, and smoothness to guarantee compliance with specifications.
• Proactively identify and assess potential issues, collaborating with production personnel to resolve them.
• Maintain thorough documentation of quality control processes and findings.
• Participate in the maintenance and calibration of field testing equipment.
• Handle repetitive lifting of 75 lbs and standing for extended periods as part of daily tasks.
• Independently manage tasks and stay motivated while performing quality checks.
• Contribute to team success by assisting with additional tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work various hours, including weekends and night shifts as needed.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Sheets.
• Ability to perform tests according to AASHTO, ASTM, INDOT, and KYTC standards.
• Commitment to growth: You’ll become a Qualified Technician within 3 months of employment and an ACI Grade 1 Field Technician within the first year.
• A valid driver’s license and a readiness to hit the road when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
