Our company is looking for an experienced and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. Working with our customers is at the heart of the job. Whether it is to make payment arrangements, listen and communicate, or answer their questions, the customer service representative must have the confidence, motivation, and ability to successfully communicate well and work through obstacles to get mutual results.
Primary Responsibilities
· Monitor past due accounts
· Investigate customer accounts for all notes and information before contacting
· Contact customers with past due account(s) and attempt to collect the past due payment(s) or negotiate a mutually agreed upon payment plan to bring the payment(s) current
· Take action to encourage timely payments
· Answering phone calls and taking incoming payments as well as helping customers with any concerns
· Face to face customer interaction when the customer comes into the office
· Keep up-to-date and accurate note recording on each customer’s account
· Direct all customer complaints to the appropriate department supervisor or manager
· Issue account status letters in a timely manner
