What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at Eastern Area Agency on Aging?
Eastern Area Agency on Aging is currently recruiting for a full-time 40 hours/week, benefits eligible, Program Coordinator for our Home Delivered Meals & Community Café programs in Piscataquis County. This position provides & promotes program service throughout the region. Job duties include determining program eligibility, maintaining electronic records, referring clients, coordinating meal delivery, establishing delivery routes, supervising and coordinating volunteers, and conducting assessments. This position is hybrid, Milo based Monday and Thursday with some remote work possible other days, and frequent travel throughout Piscataquis County.
The Program Coordinator is required to stoop and/or bend and frequently lifts up to 20lbs.
High School diploma or GED required. Knowledge of services and programs available for older adults preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance. Experience working with and/or supervising volunteers is preferred.
The successful candidate will be professional, show initiative, and driven to help improve the lives of older adults throughout Eastern Maine.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
