Job Description: Business Analyst
Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking a Business Analyst to provide supportive services for a DHS client. This position will be performed on-site.
The ECOMPEX career position supports the following:
- Provide on-site support to participate in daily operations, ensuring continuous collaboration with leadership and managing day to day tasks.
- Participate in establishment activities, security threat assessments and other vetting activities.
- Possess 4 or more years of experience in the following areas below:
- Expertise with information technology tools analyzing the deep web to determine transportation links.
- Expert knowledge with identity resolution concepts and techniques.
- Expertise with vetting and security threat assessments of insider threats.
- Expertise in publicly available social media and other non-conventional data sources.
- Ability to independently produce written assessments, graphic representations of findings, source documentation, and summary briefings.
- Previous exposure to or experience with some key areas of concern for Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), including but not limited to watch-listing, vetting, counterterrorism, transportation infrastructure, open-source information such as social media.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree required in a related field of study; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills, to include presentation development for senior ranking Government officials.
- Experience and comfort working through problems with unclear outcomes, creative thinking and problem solving, with an orientation toward results.
- Previous exposure to or experience with some or all the relevant analytic tools such as Analyst’s Notebook, or other open source or commercially deployed network mapping and correlation tools.
- Experience working closely with, or in, government organizations.
