Position : IT Business Analyst

Interview mode : In person

Minimum Qualifications :

  • At least (3) years Business Analyst IT experience in working with Maryland State agencies. (i.e., designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining)
  • Exposure to tools like JIRA, TFS, DevOps, Confluence, or Trello for managing requirements and tasks.
  • Technical business analyst experiences managing several projects simultaneously. Understanding of how databases work and basic querying skills, Webservices or API works and basic.
  • Familiar with data analysis tools like SQL, Excel (advanced functions), or basic visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis, Word for documentation, and PowerPoint for

presentations.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies through training or certification, such as

    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

  • Experience in managing and execution of multiple related operational requests /

    • projects simultaneously

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment.
  • Certification in one of the following : Analyst, Computer Systems (Junior), Quality Assurance, Quality Analyst, Project Management, Information Technology
  • Experience in Service Now is a plus.
  • Knowledge of State Government policies and practices.
  • Knowledge of Payment Portal implementation with FMIS Integration

    • Educational Requirement : Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
