TITLE:Inventory Control ManagerREPORTS TO: Vice President of Operations
Basic Function:
The Inventory Control Manager enforces policies and procedures directly associated with all inventory transactions within the company. The Inventory Control Manager also ensures the physical cycle count criteria is being met, root cause analysis on variances is being performed, and corrective action is taken to ensure future compliance with established
Inventory control policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent analytical, group facilitation, communication, relationship management and computer skills required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and interface with all levels of staff from clerical to executive management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of an ERP or MRP system.
- Understanding of inventory principles/material flow and MRP.
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Advanced computer literacy including database, spreadsheet, graphing, presentation, word processing

Job Environment:
Office environment within manufacturing facility.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Responsible for administering and enforcing all processes, policies, and procedures relative to ECR Inventory Control within all facilities.
- Oversee two Inventory Control Coordinators and four cycle counters.
- Coordinate and monitor the cycle counting program for all sites within the Corporation.
- Maintain records and reporting metrics for inventory control and cycle count activities, including but not limited to:
- Item Accuracy
- Location Accuracy
- No. of transactional inventory adjustments
- Net $ adjustments
- Absolute $ adjustments
- Monitor transactional activity and perform research and reconciliations to correct imbalances.
- Evaluates systems and procedures related to all movements of inventory.
- Create measures and controls that insure the overall accuracy of the inventory.
- Provide inter-departmental training on inventory control policies and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, and drive continuous, sustained improvements in inventory management processes.
- Provides direction/guidance as needed to ensure all required inventory control processes are conforming to the company inventory accuracy goals.
- Manage special inventory audits as may be required for accuracy verification, operations needs, bank audits, and third-party audits.
- Ensure compliance with standard processes and methodology for all inventory related activity within the Corporation.
- Report problems to the proper department (i.e. bill of material errors go to Engineering).
- Approval of inventory adjustments based on authorization levels.
- Ensure cycle counts are being performed according to count criteria.
- Audit & approval of work flows for dollar adjustments.
- Ensure material handlers follow safe handling procedures in accordance with ECR and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Additional duties as requested or required by management.
- Conduct employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge and contribution toward specific goals and objectives.
- Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiencies toward specific goals and objectives.
- Process payroll timesheets and monitors attendance of direct reports.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
