An independent funeral provider with locations in PA and Ohio has a career opportunity for an experienced professional. Due to recent acquisition, we are seeking a Funeral Director for our main location, in New Castle, PA to join our progressive, expanding team!
This position requires hands-on involvement with ALL aspects of funeral service. In addition, we have an onsite crematory, cemetery, mausoleum and monument business.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong work ethic, career-minded goals, who has the ability to communicate between multiple firms at the various locations. The ideal candidate will be involved with all aspects of funeral service and maintain a high level of commitment to the families we serve. All replies to this ad are confidential.
Requirements:
- Must have funeral director / embalmers license
- Experience working in a 200- call firm
- Ability to work with others, be a team player, and communicate

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate customer service to grieving families and assist them in making funeral arrangements.
- Direct funeral services, ensuring all details are handled with care and professionalism.
- Offer bereavement support and guidance to families during their time of loss.
- Maintain sanitation standards in the funeral home and prepare deceased individuals for viewing.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute memorial events effectively.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific needs during the funeral process.
