Sequoia Choice Arizona Distance Learning and Edkey Online Academy serve students across Arizona and the United States with flexible, supportive online learning for grades K-12. We are looking for a motivated Enrollment Counselor to guide prospective families through the enrollment process with knowledge, warmth, and professionalism.
The Enrollment Counselor will play a critical role in managing inquiries from prospective students and families, assisting with enrollment, and effectively communicating the benefits and offerings of our online charter and private school programs. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with strong organizational skills, who can maintain a high level of professionalism in a remote setting.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 1 year of customer service and/or enrollment experience
Other Requirements
- Must possess the ability to hold/obtain a Valid IVP Fingerprint clearance card by the time of hire.
- Must possess the ability to hold a valid Arizona Driver’s License by the time of hire.
Preferred Requirements
- Project management experience
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Spanish proficiency is highly preferred to assist Spanish-speaking families
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective families via phone and email.
- Educate potential enrollees on our school programs, answering questions about curriculum, student resources, and the enrollment process.
- Use strong organizational skills to manage multiple inquiries and report status updates to the administration team efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of interactions and follow-ups using customer management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ensure a professional, interruption-free work environment while working from home.
- Collaborate with the admin team and update them on enrollment progress and any notable trends or issues.
- Assist with project management tasks as they relate to enrollment and outreach efforts.
- Exceptional phone and email communication skills.
- Ability to learn and articulate our school’s offerings quickly and clearly.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Comfortable with learning new software and systems quickly.
