Job Overview:
We are urgently seeking a High School Math Teacher to join our sites at Philadelphia, PA. The candidate should have experience working with high school students. Required candidate should carry a valid PA Teaching License or should be able to apply for the emergency License issued by PA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for high school mathematics.
- Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide individualized support as needed.
- Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote academic success and address any concerns.
- Mentor students in advanced mathematics topics, including geometry and calculus.
Qualifications
- Strong classroom management skills and experience working with high school students
- Proficient in lesson planning and effective teaching methodologies
- Excellent communication skills to engage with students and parents
- Knowledge of advanced mathematics, including trigonometry and calculus
- Experience in curriculum development and standardized testing
- Ability to mentor and support students in their academic growth

Pay: $29.09 - $35.98 per hour
