What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at Electronic Industries?

Responsibilities
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Reply to quote requests and enter customer orders
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Find alternative products and solutions for customers when needed
- Work with suppliers and reps on expedites, pricing, opportunities, etc.
- Apply market knowledge and competitive information to the quote process
- Strategize with sales team to maximize sales volume and profitability
- Track sales volume and gross profit percentage; enhance where possible
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of previous sales, customer service, and/or purchasing experience is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to aid in the ability to negotiate and build rapport with clients
- Strong user skills of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Familiarity with interconnect products, passive components, industrial automation and knowledge of PPAP's is a plus
