Description

EMS facilitates businesses big or small with the ability to accept all major credit and debit card brands. In addition to offering the ability to accept major credit cards as payment we also offer loyalty and gift, and check processing programs utilizing various processing solutions to meet market demands.

Position Overview:

As the Point of Sale (POS) Software Sales Leader, we're seeking someone with substantial experience in the retail and restaurant software industry who can drive the success of our retail and restaurant software solutions.You will be responsible for overseeing the sales, implementation, and adoption of our POS software across our different sales channels.Your role will involve leading the charge in building distribution teams for our POS software solutions. Your primary objectives will include:

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to drive the adoption of our POS software solutions within the retail and restaurant sectors. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and positioning.
  • Team Management: Build, Lead and Mentor a team of sales professionals. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the team achieves sales targets and delivers exceptional customer service.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with our clients and our sales channels, understanding their business requirements, and providing solutions to meet their needs. Build rapport and be a trusted advisor, offering insights and recommendations to optimize their POS software usage.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth utilizing our POS systems, including integrated payment processing solutions. Oversee the sales pipeline, identify new business opportunities, and negotiate contracts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments affecting the retail and restaurant industry. Leverage market insights to identify opportunities for product differentiation and market expansion.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and technical support, to ensure seamless delivery of our POS software solutions. Coordinate efforts to address customer needs and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Contactless Payment Solution:Uncover potential clients who could benefit from implementing contactless payment solutions. Identify and capitalize on opportunities where this solution could be advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the restaurant software or technology industry, particularly in retail solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the retail industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Experience in product management or development is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
