Your Role: This is no ordinary position. Leading our Quality Assurance Department, you'll inspire technicians and inspectors alike. Your commitment to excellence will drive the ongoing refinement of our QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and meeting the newest customer or regulatory expectations.
What You’ll Do:
- Guide and empower your team, instilling accountability at every level.
- Revitalize quality strategies, aligning them with both customer demands and our business ambitions.
- Champion audit programs, measuring the critical success of our QMS across all Elemet business units.
- Guarantee supplier quality compliance, managing an arsenal of reports, inspections, and approvals.
- Set the standard for tool and equipment inspection, ensuring unfaltering adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Orchestrate the flawless recording and reporting of inspection and test results.
- Lead the charge on quality issue resolution, spearheading initiatives across teams to stamp out nonconformances once and for all.
- Strategically steward the Quality Department's budget, prioritizing key quality initiatives.
Qualifications & Traits:
- Aspiring candidates will possess a 4-year degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for a focus on Quality Management.
- Dive into this role with at least a decade of hands-on experience in quality management!
Bring Your Skills:
- Your competence in the MS Office Suite and manufacturing software will be your toolkit's backbone.
- Formal understanding of ISO principles and root cause analysis is required.
- Excel in managing a comprehensive metrology program.
- Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) prowess is a plus, especially with FARO instruments.
- Mastery of PFMEA and control planning are indispensable.
- Your success story includes delivering measurable improvements and inspiring teams.
- Expertise in SPC and TQM methods, intricacies of defect analysis, and variance reduction is highly valued.
