We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in property maintenance, a keen eye for detail, and strong leadership skills. The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will support the Maintenance Supervisor in managing all aspects of maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring that all facilities are in top condition for residents and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing daily maintenance operations of the property, including scheduling and supervising repairs, maintenance, and janitorial services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues, including emergency repairs.
- Coordinate and oversee work completed by outside contractors and service providers.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the property, including common areas, buildings, and grounds.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; order materials as needed.
- Document maintenance activities, work orders, and service requests.
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and inquiries.
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the property’s budget for maintenance-related costs.
- Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to provide training, guidance, and leadership to the maintenance team.
- Assist in managing the on-call maintenance schedule, ensuring availability for emergency maintenance issues outside normal hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
