Mid Level Cost Price Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mid-Level Cost Price Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing pricing strategies, analyzing market trends, and ensuring that our pricing aligns with the company's financial goals. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial principles to interpret data effectively and provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Provides cost/price analysis support with comprehensive knowledge of the full scope of laws, regulations, and policies that affect both the development of IGCEs and the cost/price analysis of proposal submitted for all pre-award contracting activities up to and including contract award.
• Perform cost/price analysis on the various elements of major contractor proposals, reviewing in detail the significant direct and indirect cost elements.
• Assists in the development of and/or make recommendations for the cost/price objectives to be used in negotiations.
• Provide a forecast of price trends economic factors and efficiencies in production for future accounting periods using analytical techniques such as random sampling, cost models, and parametric cost models.
• Request, coordinate and integrate into a comprehensive pricing report the various technical evaluations of cost elements.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen
• with an active TS/SCI Poly, or the ability to obtain one.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
• Experience in public accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in financial report interpretation and analysis.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and techniques.
• Knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation practices.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
