What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Emergency Dental Care USA?
Emergency Dental is a fast growing team of Dental Professionals and is looking to add additional capacity to accommodate our increasing patient base. We specialize in same-day treatment and therefore will need an RDA with both experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are ramping up quickly and reaching the capacity that our current staff can take. We are looking to add someone who provides the best possible patient care, with a smile and a great attitude. We will also need someone who can keep up with the capacity of our dentist who is accustomed to working in a fast-paced, same day treatment environment

Job Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms
- Assist the Doctor during examinations and treatment procedures
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Perform patient charting and ensure patient charts are complete and include necessary forms before performing treatment
- Clean/Sterilize instruments without cross contamination
- Take patient records (pano, PA's, bitewings, etc.)
- Perform equipment maintenance
- Stock and maintain clinical work area
- Work in a fast pace environment while multitasking and learning quickly
- Maintain a welcoming and attractive office environment
- Maintain Confidentiality of businesses and client information
Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
- Outgoing, Energetic, and Fun Personality!
- Team Player – As mentioned, we are a fast growing company and therefore there may be some tasks which would normally fall outside the normal RDA job duties. We need someone who is willing to do the necessary to get the job done. Flexibility will be of utmost importance.
- Availability to work during the weekdays - No weekends required
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficient with: Endo and OS is preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
