Position Purpose
The position of IT Operations Administrator will work in support of the IT Service Management process in ITG. This position will ensure new products and services are properly onboarded into the ITG support environment to include communication, documentation, and training for support agents and the IT Liaison community in the hospitals. In addition, this position will conduct periodic ITG service management training as part of ITG employee onboarding and will work with ITG team leaders to ensure ITSM processes are followed - this includes working with support teams to ensure knowledge articles are created and updated, with training scheduled as required. Finally, this position will conduct ITG Service Overview training for the hospitals and oversee the change process from a support impact perspective.

Responsibilities & Tasks
- Serves on the ARC and assists with the onboarding of new services, compiles service profile data and supports documentation with annual review and updates.
- Focal for continual IT liaison education and training.
- Works with Project Management Office as part the SDLC to generate required support.
- Maintains the "Critical Applications" list.
- Serves as the knowledge base administrator, ensuring how-to resolution data is current, properly vetted, and accurate, with standardized formatting maximizing accessibility to support resources.
- Oversees the documenting and maintaining of ITSM Standard Operating Procedures as directed by the Director of IT Operations and the Associate Director of Service Delivery.
- Assists with agent training and helps ensure specialization courses, and proof of mastery exams are current.
- Assists with specialized training when needed.
- Ensures proper ITSM processes are followed ITG-wide.
- Provides quarterly IT Service awareness and training for new ITG employees.
- Conducts IT Service Overview training for the hospitals. Some travel may be required.
- Must Live in Birmingham AL. This is not a remote position

- ITIL-4 Fundamentals Certification preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates degree required. Experience in a dynamic IT support organization with knowledge of basic workflows and needs.
- Knowledge of ITSM fundamental concepts
