We are looking to hire an attentive Maintenance Technician to join our team.
As Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the building's systems, equipment, and facilities. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, completing minor repairs, assisting contractors, and maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and inventory. The ideal candidate will possess basic technical skills, including basic knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance for units or building components prone to wear and tear.
- Inspect drives, motors, belts, and filters, and execute checklist-based maintenance activities.
- Repair and Maintenance
- Complete minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Technician Lead, Property Manager, or through work orders.
- Perform basic repairs requiring HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry.
- Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor building systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed accounts of inventory and supplies.
- Provide regular updates to the Owner regarding the condition of equipment and systems.
- Safety and Security
- Report suspicious behavior observed on the property or within the building.
- System Management
- Respond to maintenance calls promptly and efficiently using EnhanceDynamics.
- Coordination and Oversight
- Oversee yearly building and system inspections.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed per Owner's requirements.
- Supervise and validate repair/maintenance subcontractor work, ensuring proper troubleshooting and testing procedures are followed.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Participate in monthly review meetings with property management teams, including Link Logistics.
- Provide support for special projects and ad hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance or related technical roles.
- Basic proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with building controls and BAS systems is a plus.
- Attention to detail in documentation and inventory management.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects.
- Comfortable working in various conditions, including confined spaces or outdoor environments.
- Standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders as part of daily activities.
