EBAD seeks an experienced Quality Professional, inspector, or manufacturing office manager for the position of Quality Assurance Administrative Technician . This position is located in Simsbury, CT.
The Quality Assurance Administrative Technician will support a team of Quality Engineers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, that uses a mix of electronic and paper records. The primary responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Technician will be coordination, review, and approval of quality documentation.
Responsibilities :
The Quality Assurance Administrative Technician provides effective verification that manufactured product and associated processes are compliant to defined requirements.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Generate First Article Inspection Reports (FAI / FAIR), with QE input and oversight.
- Monitor progress of Shop Orders in Delmia Apriso and IFS ERP system to ensure documentation errors are caught and corrected in a timely manner.
- Review manufacturing build records and inspection reports to ensure records are complete and correct.
- Coordinate Lot Acceptance Testing, and verify test report conformance.
- Create and appropriately redact quality record packages for customers, including : HAR (Hardware Acceptance Review), EIDP (End Item Data Package), and other pre-shipment paperwork.
- Generate and sign Certificates of Conformance
- Host Customer and Government Source Inspectors
- Generate quality pareto graphs for monthly value stream management review.
- As part of our Continuous Improvement culture, develop processes to better manage our build records, and automate mistake-proofing where practical
- Depending on availability : Under the guidance of the QE, revise Inspection Plans and other manufacturing instructions
- As required : Participate in internal and customer quality system and safety audits
