Onsite in Minneapolis, MN
Mechanical Designer (Creo)
45-55/HR
- ProE Creo 4.0 and Windchill 2.0- 5 yrs- commercial product design and packaging (enclosures) with sheet metal and electronic components
Large assembly (quantity of parts)
Experience with Configurable B.O.M.’s
Experience with large assemblies and sub-components is very important
Panels, doors, dividers, corners, tubing, brackets, hinges, support flanges, insulation, 90*’s
- 2-4 years design and production environment.
- Experience with HVAC/Refrigeration greatly preferred
Degrees:
Degrees: Associates preferred but equivalent experience is acceptable
Experience:
- Recent experience with Pro-Engineer Creo 4.0 3D solid modeling software and Wind-Chill PLM software is required.
- Leads and assists engineering in new product development design solutions as part of the phase-gate process
- Develops and designs mechanical parts and assemblies, as well as 3D harness routing using Creo Schematic and Pro/CABLE
- Creation of 2D harness drawings
- Work from oral or written engineering instructions, procedures, schematics, drawings, and sketches
- Develop, communicate, and present design concepts
- Understanding of Design failure mode and effects analysis and tolerance analysis
- Prepare Engineering documentation, bills of material and change notices
- Produce, design, and document utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems. Unit Product Drawings- both detailed drawings and layouts.
- Bill of Material creation and maintenance
- Assemblies, Solid and Sheetmetal Modeling Utilizing Pro-Engineer Creo 4.0 and WindChill.
- Related Experience with HVAC, refrigeration systems or components preferred.
