This involves planning, executing, and finalizing projects to ensure they adhere to timelines and contractual requirements. Through collaboration with engineering, supply chain, production, and quality control teams, you will ensure clients receive their deliverables on time and within budget.
You Will
- Serve as primary contact for project installations
- Develop and execute project management plans per contract specifications
- Interface with other company departments, including sales, engineering, logistics, supply chain, quality control, cost control, shipping, and commissioning
- Define project objectives and coordinate project throughout its life cycle
- Identify, analyze, monitor, and control project risks
- Manage project change orders
- Assure agreement between contracts, purchase orders, sales orders, and invoices
- Investigate and resolve client issues
- Provide advice and support to clients regarding systems
- Maintain accurate and timely work status and correspondence reports
- Coordinate scheduling of site commissioning
- Help develop client service standards, policies, and procedures
- Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Ensure tools and equipment are operating properly
- Perform site visits to establish company product and service standards
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of project/construction management experience to include:
- Bills of materials
- Routing
- Work instructions
- Change orders
- Construction management systems
- In-field troubleshooting
- 2 years of experience leading project initiatives and systems implementation
- Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations
- Confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy
- Strong leadership skills, able to demonstrate motivating and inspiring others
- Demonstrated team development and mentorship capability
- Experience in solar construction, heavy equipment, industrial construction, automotive, agricultural, or related field
- Experience with ERP systems, Salesforce and SAP
- Experience as a project manager on multi-million-dollar projects
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
- PMP certification
