Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Flint, MI

Summary: eShocan is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Flint, MI. In this role, you will apply engineering theory and principles to address challenges related to industrial layout and manufacturing production. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating engineering drawings and interpreting blueprints, playing a key role in enhancing our operational efficiency and product quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze time, motion, methods, and speed in maintenance and production operations to establish standard production rates and improve overall efficiency.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas; collaborate with management and engineering teams to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Review worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to ensure compliance with quality assurance specifications.
• Assist in planning work assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
• Develop charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
• Monitor equipment operation and maintenance practices to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
• Conduct time studies to assess task durations and evaluate worker fatigue rates using timing devices.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to validate processes or highlight deviations from existing standards.

• Proficient in creating sketches, engineering drawings, and performing common computations.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) required.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
