Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze time, motion, methods, and speed in maintenance and production operations to establish standard production rates and improve overall efficiency.
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas; collaborate with management and engineering teams to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Review worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to ensure compliance with quality assurance specifications.
- Assist in planning work assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
- Develop charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
- Monitor equipment operation and maintenance practices to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Conduct time studies to assess task durations and evaluate worker fatigue rates using timing devices.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to validate processes or highlight deviations from existing standards.
- Strong creativity and analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a collaborative team spirit.
- Proficient in creating sketches, engineering drawings, and performing common computations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Familiarity with engineering software applications, including Computer Aided Design (CAD).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) required.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
