Job Opportunity: Payroll Clerk
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Position Type: Temporary (January through August)
Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk with strong experience in payroll processing and proficiency in ADP Workforce to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. This temporary role offers a great opportunity to showcase your skills while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Payroll Clerk Qualifications

• Previous payroll experience is required.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce is strongly preferred.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Payroll Clerk Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly 1099 contractor payments, ensuring payments match statement amounts minus necessary deductions.
• Review payroll entries for all operations staff, verifying accurate coding based on location and type of work performed.
• Use MS Excel to maintain and update payroll records and reports.
• Perform other HR and clerical tasks as assigned by supervisors.
