Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to the following)
- In collaboration with Accreditation Managers and the Accreditation Project Manager, researches, comprehends, interprets, and documents the accreditation standards mandated by various accrediting bodies with regulatory authority over EIM and UP healthcare education programs. These accrediting bodies include institutional, programmatic, and state agencies with accreditation and compliance responsibilities.
- Documents the interpretation and application of accreditation standards related to UP programmatic accreditation and EIM’s Post Professional healthcare education division.
- Assists Accreditation Team in providing comprehensive accreditation, equipment, and faculty management support to UP programs.
- Supports the accreditation of UP programs with the collection, review, and editing of required faculty documentation, including Curriculum Vitae, qualifications and credentials, and contemporary expertise narratives.
- Coordinates with and assists UP programs in collaborative logistics planning, including equipment planning and procurement, facility planning and management, and resource sharing across institutional programs.
- Ensures Continuing Education Courses are approved by proper state or national associations by requesting state or national association course approval when necessary.
- Authors course evaluation reports to document course effectiveness and student feedback as required by accrediting associations.
- Monitors, audits, and provides feedback on processes and systems that ensure accreditation compliance.
- Participates and assists in coordination of accreditation onsite visits - some travel may be required.
- Coordinates with and supports Accreditation Managers in the development and compilation of accreditation documents (i.e., narratives, appendices, etc.) according to established timelines.
- Assists Accreditation Team in scheduling and maintaining specific meeting agendas, notes, and follow up reminders to the Accreditation Team.
- Prepares relevant reports and data analysis, in collaboration with Accreditation team members, based on key performance indicators (KPI’s) and inquiries from EIM or program partner leadership.
- Develops and maintains accurate, up-to-date records, files, and systems with timely reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with teammates and external stakeholders using effective and appropriate communication strategies.
- Supports and teaches the management team, staff, and accreditation stakeholders on accreditation processes and plans to ensure accreditation compliance.
- Performs additional job-related duties as assigned.
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Key Qualifications
- Education:
- Minimum Qualification: Associate’s Degree or 3-5 years of related project coordination experience
- Must be action and goal oriented
- Ability to thrive in a diversified working environment and deal with ambiguity
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Accreditation team
- Must be extremely well organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient at typing
- Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Monday.com, and other productivity enhanced applications
- Ability to learn new computer programs and have high technical aptitude
- Demonstrates a helpful, positive, and pro-active attitude
- Ability to work with tight deadlines
- Must be flexible and capable of multi-tasking
- Preferred:
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination
