Embroidery Machine Operator

Exact Image, Inc., Montana’s premier promotional product marketing company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will operate high-quality commercial embroidery machines to produce exceptional embroidered products for our diverse clientele. This role requires precision, technical know-how, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Overtime may be required during peak times.

Onsite training is available for someone with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Embroidery Machines: Set up, operate, and maintain embroidery machines according to design specifications.
• Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure each piece meets our quality standards; perform quality checks on completed items.
• Design Loading: Load designs into the embroidery machine software, ensuring correct alignment and scaling.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with machines or embroidery processes.
• Material Preparation: Prepare fabrics and garments for embroidery, including hooping, framing, and aligning materials as needed.
• Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet production schedules without compromising on quality.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
• Collaboration: Work closely with design and production teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Experience (We are willing to train the right person): Proven experience as an Embroidery Machine Operator or similar role in a production environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using embroidery software and machines; knowledge of different embroidery stitches and techniques.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Problem Solving: Good troubleshooting skills to handle machine and operational issues.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, handle small parts, and perform repetitive tasks with hands.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in embroidery or textile manufacturing is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
