Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce parts according to specifications.
- Utilize SolidWorks for interpreting technical drawings and creating machine programs.
- Perform regular quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure product accuracy.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with various CNC machines and tools, including lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment.
- Proficient in using SolidWorks for programming and design purposes.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
