Our Skilled Nursing Facility, located near Calumet City, IL is seeking an Admissions Director who is self-motivated, has previous experience, is organized, and has excellent communication skills. The Admissions Director will assist us in achieving our mission of growing a quality-oriented and employee-friendly organization.
Admissions Director Duties and Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for the complete admission process of new and returning residents.
- Manage referral process.
- Conduct facility tours as necessary.
- Communicate to the IDT team information on new admissions, discharges, and readmissions.
- Meet and greet new residents and family members and obtain required documentation and signatures.
- Collaborate with the Business office on daily census reconciliation.
- Participate in morning and afternoon meetings.
- Participate in the bed management process.
- Assist with room moves as needed.
Admissions Director Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a nursing home or long-term care admissions and/or marketing.
- In-depth knowledge of the admission process and Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Managed Care, and other payer types.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to tasks.
- Reliable and self-starter.
