Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information and collecting necessary documentation.
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently to optimize patient flow.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, addressing patient inquiries and directing calls as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and medical professionals to coordinate care.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in office procedures, phone etiquette, and patient service skills.
- Bilingual candidates who can communicate in Spanish are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is essential.
