We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team on second shift. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a smiling face, exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience at a hotel front desk or hospitality is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest information using hotel management software.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately.
- Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on phone systems and etiquette.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, nights and weekends as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
