What are the responsibilities and job description for the NP or PA position at Family Walk-In Clinic?
We are wanting to hire a very experienced NP/PA to work with us M-F from 12-4. You should expect to see an average of 10 or more patients during those afternoon hours. Typical NP/PA duties should be expected such as taking patient histories, performing thorough exams, accurately diagnosing patient conditions, and forming valid treatment plans to treat their conditions. We see a variety of patient ages with a variety of acute and chronic conditions. You should be able to suture, perform I&Ds, have your DOT ME certification, and also have your DEA license in order to function completely independently right from the first day. You should also have at least 1 year of solo work experience in a busy urgent care setting in order to be able to handle our sometimes demanding work load. You should have plenty of time in between patients, on most days, to complete patient notes or you can complete them the next day. Pay will be negotiated and based on your experience. If you have the above attributes, your pay should be at our near our max rate. No other benefits will be offered except for production bonuses and longevity bonuses. New graduates or providers with minimal experience and a lack of skills or no licenses or certifications are welcome to apply but you will be at the lower end of our pay rate since you will need a lot of training and mentoring.
