Job Summary:
This full-time position is at one of our Urgent Care locations in Murphy, NC. Responsible for providing acute care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and educating patients.
Education:
Required:
BSN required; MSN required. Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner (general or specialized) from an approved nurse practitioner program.
Preferred:
Experience:
Required: Minimum three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting, plus two years of nurse practitioner experience. Computer skills and working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Windows and Office applications.

Required:
Current North Carolina registered nurse license. Current North Carolina license as an advanced registered nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority. BLS completed prior to going to the unit/department and maintained going forward
The Nurse Licensure Compact will not change how to obtain or renew a North Carolina license. However, the North Carolina nursing license will be a single state license for North Carolina Residents or non-compact state residents. North Carolina licensure or multistate licensure from a compact state must be obtained within three months of hire for non-North Carolina residents.
