We are currently seeking a dedicated Loan Processing professional to provide quality compliant loan documents to service our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The statements contained herein reflect general details as necessary to describe the essential job duties/responsibilities and performance expectations of the job, which should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. · Processes loan documentation following FMBT’s Loan Policy, operating procedures, and industry best practices.
· Assist Loan Department personnel with operational support related to compliance, policy, and related requirements.
· Reviews loan requests for completeness and data accuracy to complete loan documentation.
· Scan documents to FMBT’s Document Imaging System.
· Servicing of loans, which may include posting payments, calculating interest, or updating tickler systems.
· Assisting bank customers.
Working Relationships:
Reports directly to the AVP Loan Operations. Will interact regularly with all lending personnel and regularly with other bank personnel. Will have regular internal customer contact over the telephone. May also interact with outside contacts such as appraisers, title companies and insurance agents.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. In addition to education in business or related field, 6 months to 1 year of experience in a loan support related role is preferred. Banking or financial experience is also preferred.
Supervisory Requirements:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Other Skills & Qualifications:
Must have demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel as well proficiency with various internal banking software to perform duties. All associates are responsible for the knowledge and application of banking laws, rules, regulations, prescribed practices, and ethical standards that are applicable to their position, including internal controls in the performance of their assigned job duties. Internal control responsibilities are established in various policies and procedures.
Must be detailed oriented.
Language Skills & Abilities:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to use professional communication skills.

Effectively interacts with internal and external customers in a wide variety of situations while upholding the FMBT brand. Willing takes ownership of customer experiences and responds appropriately to difficult situations. Provides recommendations and solutions in a genuine, confident manner. Mathematical Skills & Abilities:
Ability to use and apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. May also use and apply fractions and percentages to practical situations.
Reasoning Abilities:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving some variables in standardized situations.
