Florida Drawbridge has Drawbridge Operator positions available for all shifts at 5th Street Bridge in Miami.
- Starting pay $13.50/hr
- Shift - 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - 4 days on, 4 days off (Part Time)
This is a very desirable opportunity to work an interesting and unique job. We are looking for safety-conscience individuals to operate the bridges safely and highly dependable people to maintain our bridge houses in “Tip-top” shape. Work an interesting job with beautiful views of the Florida waterways!
Paid training will be provided. Qualified candidates must be able to read and write English, follow safe opening procedures.
- Must live close to the job-site.
- Bridge will be manned 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
- Must be professional
- Drug-Free Workplace, must pass a drug test
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and dependable. Must be able to have regular, reliable and dependable attendance
- Must have good vision (corrective lenses are ok), ability to see all colors
- Must be able to go up and down stairs
- Perform minor bridge house maintenance
