What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Product Owner position at First City Credit Union?
The Digital Product Owner will assume, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Evaluates operating procedures and policies, ensuring the highest levels of Member service, productivity and internal control.
- Initiates, researches, coordinates and implements department or division projects intended to benefit Members, internal team members or department operations.
- Reviews processes and recommends improvements and efficiencies to continuously improve processes and the member experience.
- Works with cross functional teams to implement products and services that improve the member digital experience.
- Directs and champions the Digital Experience to ensure alignment with organizational strategic objectives and annual goal achievement.
- Identifies, centralizes, and accumulates vital data for use in analysis, trending, personalization and predictive analytics.
- Fosters and maintains a high-performance environment and culture to value members and each other, work as a team, constantly improve, and uphold
- Encourages team members to be accountable for delivering results and communicating effectively across all levels of the organization.
The successful candidate will possess the following education, knowledge and skillsets:
- An associate degree in Information Technology/Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of work-related experience in a full-service financial institution or experience in a related position in a related field.
- At least one (1) year of work experience in project management and Software Development Life Cycle including analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Excellent project and time management skills with ability to lead multiple projects, tasks and priorities; meeting established timeframes, strategies, and tactics.
- In-depth knowledge of Credit Union regulations, products and services, procedures and guidelines, and field of membership requirements.
- 2-4 years of previous Digital Banking vendor solution platform experience and management such as NCR/Candescent, Lumin Digital, Alkami, Q2, Banno, and other credit union industry specific solutions.
