We are currently looking for a Trust Operations Analyst to join our First County Advisors team! This individual will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the trust administration and operations department, including overseeing trust transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing exceptional service to our clients. Work Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm, Mon - Fri.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees the processing, recording, and reporting of trust transactions (including, but not limited to, cash transfers/disbursements), ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing exceptional service to our clients.
- Handle daily transaction processing, such as cash movements, while also reconciling account balances and preparing necessary disbursements, e.g. wire transfers and ACH payments.
- Oversees the comprehensive management of trust accounts, including the opening, maintenance, and closing processes, while ensuring that all transactions are accurately processed in accordance with trust agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Assists in monitoring investment operations performed by outside vendors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and collaborating with relationship managers to meet client needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, participating in audits, and implementing risk management practices.; Prepare and maintain accurate records of all trust transactions, generate periodic reports, and ensure thorough documentation in line with regulatory standards.
- Utilize trust and financial systems to manage operations efficiently and assist with system upgrades; Collaboration with other team members and departments as a key aspect of this role.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Completion of 2-4 years of college in business administration or related field or equivalent plus 5 – 7 years of progressively responsible related experience in cash processing and operations. CSOP designation a plus.
- Demonstrated communication skills.
- High attention to detail, as well as knowledge of cash processing, reconciliations, relationship management, and operations management.
- Proficiency with Excel (& Microsoft Office suite).
Wage Range: $60,161 - $75,261
