Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at a First Lutheran ECE. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a commitment to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young students. Department of Education requires employee to be 21 years of age or older.
Duties
-Assist in making lessons engaging and learning fun.
- Provide one-on-one and group
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages socialization and emotional development.
- Collaborate with early childhood staff to provide support and accommodations for all students needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and involve them in their child's educational journey.
- Assist in keeping accurate and detailed records of student progress, including lesson plans, attendance, and assessment results.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Early childhood education experience preferred but will train.
- Enjoy young children and sharing a joy of learning with them.
-Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
