Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. You will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including troubleshooting logic controllers.
- Oversee and execute preventive maintenance tasks using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Supervise maintenance staff and provide leadership to ensure effective team performance.
- Execute residential painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Utilize welding skills for repairs and modifications as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on the status of repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption.
Experience
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
- Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on electrical systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory management.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a team environment.
- Skills in residential painting, welding, and general repair work are highly valued.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
