Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate leadership abilities. You will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including troubleshooting logic controllers.
- Oversee and execute preventive maintenance tasks using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Supervise maintenance staff and provide leadership to ensure effective team performance.
- Execute residential painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Utilize welding skills for repairs and modifications as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on the status of repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption.
Experience
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
- Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on electrical systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory management.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a team environment.
- Skills in residential painting, welding, and general repair work are highly valued.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logic to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
