Software Development Engineering - Professional II

TITLE:                                 Software Development Engineering - Professional II

EMPLOYER:                               Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION:                                 Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES:                                      Capture new requirements, design, and implement innovative deployment architectures for FinTech applications. Architect and design a rapid deployment method for automated server provisioning. Engage in infrastructure as code to provision resources using Ansible, Python, and Shell Script. Create Corosync and Pacemaker resources to establish a high-availability (HA) topology. Implement AWS solutions, establish the CI/CD pipeline, and configure and manage RabbitMQ and Redis Clusters. Work on the Container Platform for Applications using Docker. Utilize Git for code repository management, including creating branches, merging, and tagging. Perform Application and Stack upgrades in both production and non-production environments. Develop and execute test cases and scenarios for performance testing. Configure Nagios and DataDog for monitoring FinTech applications. Diagnose and resolve networking, OS, Storage, JBOSS, and DB issues in both production and non-production environments.

REQUIREMENTS:                     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving quality assurance engineering experience. Prior experience must include: 4 years of platform application testing, infrastructure automation, building packages, deploying the artifacts, and releasing code to multiple environments; 4 years of software configuration management and testing on Linux and Unix environments; 4 years of infrastructure development on AWS Cloud services including VPC, EC2, Load Balancing, RDS, S3, SQS and EFS; 4 years of automating deployment using Shell Script, Ansible, and Jenkins; 4 years writing test cases and documents related to deployment and verification; 4 years developing and configuring application with HA using Corosync and Pacemaker; 4 years configuring and troubleshooting IPSLA; 3 years of testing, integration and troubleshooting ISO8583; 3 years deploying applications in Active-Active, HA, and DR topologies; 2 years working with AMI, Auto scaling, Route53, SNS, AWS CLI, API Gateway, ElastiCache, and IAM; 1 year working with JIRA; Working with Oracle, MySQL, and SQL server databases; Working with Kubernetes infrastructure; and Software configuration management (SCM) in Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
