What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Associate Dentist position at FLOSS Dental?
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Conduct routine dental exams and cleanings
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Develop treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff to ensure efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Knowledge of medical coding and dental office systems
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Experience with electronic health record systems, such as Epic or CAD, is a plus
