Legal Case Manager – Entry Level Opportunity – Braintree , MA
A small, family-oriented civil litigation firm based in Braintree, Massachusetts is looking for a full-time Case Manager. This is an entry level position with an opportunity to get exposure to all the players and activities in a law firm.

While management is supportive, once trained our Case Managers are expected to confidently manage their workload with minimal supervision and work well on a team.
Candidate requirements:
- some prior legal experience required but strong interest to learn and grow is essential.
- Must be detail oriented and can prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written skills.
- Able to work on a diverse team as well as complete work independently.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office software, Adobe software, and ability to learn new programs/software.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience and/or interest in social media marketing is a plus.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Managing calendar for assigned cases;
- Answering and directing phone calls, scanning, copying, and other administrative tasks;
- Communicating with your assigned clients regarding sensitive topics such as medical treatment, case status, etc.;
- Drafting legal documents including formal demand letters, motions, pleadings, letters, etc.;
- Maintaining and updating your assigned case files including processing mail, obtaining documents from clients, obtaining medical records, conducting research, maintaining lien information, taking notes at case team meetings and client meetings;
- Navigating online databases (electronic dockets, medical record portals, lien management portals, legal research databases, etc.);
- Reporting to and communicating with case team, frequently, and management, quarterly, regarding case status and task management.
