Hotel General Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing the daily functions of the hotel. This role requires a strong leader with a background in hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.
• Ensure high standards of guest services are maintained at all times.
• Oversee the night audit process and ensure accurate reporting of daily financial transactions.
• Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to maximize profitability.
• Maintain a strong presence in the hotel, interacting with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
• Monitor hotel operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote hotel services and enhance brand visibility.
• Utilize phone etiquette skills to handle guest inquiries and reservations efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of front desk operations, including night audit procedures.
• Strong understanding of the P&L and effectively managing expenses.
• Excellent guest service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Proficient in revenue management techniques and strategies.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with guests and staff.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service throughout the hotel environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
