Job Description:
Works directly under the guidance of the Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and the safety of the dogs and employees. This role ensures that the workplace environment is efficient, functional, and safe for employees and dogs.
Requirements:
- Maintain a level of EXCELLENT customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Comfortable and confident with all sizes and breeds of dogs.
- Have a full understanding of all Puppy Paws SOP’s.
- Understand and operate within the Puppy Paws Service Standards.
- Be teachable and actively growing your knowledge and skills through continued education.
- Attention to detail and able to take instructions well and a good memory.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Creating and maintaining a positive culture and work environment.
- Exhibit cooperation and teamwork with all staff.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with the team.
- Ensure checklists are relevant and the team comprehends and does their assigned checklist.
- Have a working knowledge of ALL department positions.
- Uphold Puppy Paws Core Values.
- Able to perform all the following job duties reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures SOPs are up being upheld by team.
- Ensures day-to-day functions of facility and teams.
- Ensures culture is being upheld at all times.
- HR updates for employee issues, concerns, call ins, etc.. Are being documented and handled accordingly.
- Ensures safety of all dogs and employees within the facility.
- Ensures schedules are being made and properly maintained according to PP dog ratio SOP.
- Ensures Excellent Customer Service.
- Ensures all Department Managers maintain their departments and completion of their checklist.
- Maintin weekly L10 meetings with each department manager/corporate.
- Ensures building cleanliness is being upheld according to PP standards.
- Ensures Maintenace and upkeep of facility.
- Ensures purchasing of facility supplies while staying within budget.
- Maintains staffing and hires as needed.
- Ensures daily cart is being upkept and accurate billing.
- Ensures sales goals are being met.
