A successful candidate will have the following:
FH is seeking an experienced professional to fill our vacancy for a Director of Innovation. The qualified candidate will have 10 years of experience in innovation management, product development, or a related field. Additionally, the top candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, design thinking, or social innovation, and:
A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a Christian commitment to serving the poor, and in full agreement with FH’s Christian beliefs.
Familiarity with design thinking principles and methodologies, including user-centered design.
Knowledge of agile project management practices to effectively develop and iterate on Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
Understanding of venture capital, impact investment, and other funding models to secure financial support for innovative initiatives.
Ability to analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to assess project outcomes and impact.
What you’ll do…
This position will work to:
Build an innovation culture
Foster an organization-wide mindset that embraces innovation and creativity for social impact.
Drive innovative idea generation
Facilitate regular workshops and ideation sessions to source innovative concepts from staff, stakeholders, and communities.
Innovation Studio Management
Lead the operations of the innovation studio, ensuring a supportive environment for experimentation and development.
MVP Development
Collaborate with business product development teams to design and build Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) based on innovative concepts.
Venture Designing (Business Model Development)
Analyze market trends and organizational needs to create sustainable business models for innovative products.
Cross-functional collaboration
Engage with various departments to align innovation efforts with FH’s strategic goals and programs.
