HR Administrator - Analyst
SUMMARY: This is a full-time position working in the human resources department. Duties include but are not limited to processing new hire applications, reviewing, maintaining and auditing I-9’s and assisting with employee benefits. The primary responsibility is analyzing and addressing key data sources and ensuring accuracy and development of Additional duties may include assistance with other areas in the human resources department.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Answer employees’ and management queries about HR-related issues
- Assist department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees.
- Update HR databases with different information such as new hire, disciplines, and separations.
- Conduct data collections for project development and/or document generation
- Evaluate and analyze employee data sources to ensure accurate and distribute corrections and maintain accuracy.
- Maintains and ensures proper documentation and coordinates or performs testing of system modifications.
- Produce reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress of HR projects.
- Work closely with IT team to ensure forward progress of HR software and Technology needs,
- Maintaining internal records, which may include preparing, issuing and filing company documentation (e.g. sick leave, maternity leave, etc.).
- Process New Hire applications, termination forms and/or disciplinary forms while ensuring complete and accurate.
- Conduct HR Audits of data collected including I-9, ACA, Data records and more.
- Translates personnel related documents and information as directed from English to Spanish or Spanish to English.
- Perform various administrative tasks and complete special assignments and projects as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to prioritize tasks, act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Act as a reliable and supportive team member. Must be approachable and helpful.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SESO, Microsoft Dynamics software. Ability to type 40 words a minute.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the company’s HRIS and other management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business or related field, preferred.
- Two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Certification in Human Resources, Management or similar.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Proficiency in English and Spanish required (including reading and writing)
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Strong analytical/numbers capabilities and problem-solving capabilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Light to moderate lifting (up to 40 pounds).
- Reaching, stooping, pulling, pushing and manual dexterity.
- Operating a computer, calculator, copier and typewriter involves repetitive hand arm movement.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the company’s facilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to handle multi-tasks and work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to deal politely with outside customers, vendors, regulators and other visitors.
- Communication with other staff members involves making contact orally, via the telephone or in person.
