Ford is currently seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative for our Downtown St. Louis location. This individual will be providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department. The ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, timely, accurate and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
Process customer opportunities via phone or email
Assist Outside Sales staff with their customer quotes, orders, refunds, exchanges, etc.
Take payment and gather pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers.
Answer general questions about terms of sale
Suggest solutions when a problem arises
Inform customer of deals and promotions
Sell products and services
Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
Prepare month-end reporting in a timely fashion each month, and produce other reports for management as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous Inside Sales experience in a Business-to-Business format strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
Experience in Foodservice/Hospitality industry is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem solving abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Great attention to detail, and excellent data entry skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
The schedule required for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:15am-5:00pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
