What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Lines Customer Service Representative position at Fortner Insurance?

Fortner Insurance Agency, Inc. is looking for a Full Time Customer Service Representative to service and expand our Personal Lines book of business

Job responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Answer & direct phone calls
  • Gather new customer information and enter into management system
  • Prepare quality submissions to carriers on behalf of client or prospect
  • Review and analyze quotations received from carriers
  • Review and process newly issued policies for accuracy before delivery to clients
  • Gather claim information to report to the carrier
  • Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance and/or Evidence of Property
  • Respond to customer contacts received via incoming calls, internet, email, or mail in a professional manner
  • Job Requirements:
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Insurance
  • Able to multi-task with Strong time management skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a Management System – Applied Preferred
  • Experience working with outlook email

License/Certification:Benefits:
