Electrical Procurement Specialist (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced procurement specialist supporting our commercial/industrial electrical contracting operations in North and South Carolina. The position is available as a hybrid remote position.
Minimum Experience Requirements
Qualified candidates should have 5 years of experience in the commercial/industrial electrical construction industry in the areas of procurement, materials management, and/or project management, working either for an electrical contractor or an electrical supply house/vendor. Other relevant experience would be work as an electrician, estimator, project administrator, or project engineer. This position reports directly to the company’s procurement manager.

- Applicants must be able to multi-task and work well under time constraints.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and architectural drawings and specifications
- Experience organizing and reviewing submittals
- Experience and/or understanding of submittal process flow
- 5 years in electrical, electrical distribution, electrical equipment manufacturing, or related positions
- Familiarity with electrical distribution
- Familiarity with fire alarm and other low voltage trades
- Basic Ability to read and understand a project schedule
- Basic understanding and ability to read a contract
